Mercedeh and Shreya attended an international summer school on at the University of Laval from May 27th to June 7th. Subjects included: new hydrographic surveying solutions; automatic calibration and error estimation; autonomous surface vehicle; sensors and automatic processing; LiDAR surveying applied to the maritime sector; hydrographic surveying and marine geomorphology; sediment monitoring; and seismic risk mapping. This summer school allowed both Mercedeh and Shreya to benefit from a series of lectures on recent research and developments in hydrographic and LiDAR surveying. They also implemented modern tools and methods, and tested new hydrographic and LiDAR survey systems.
